HOW THE PROGRAM BEGAN
The Memorial Scholarship Program began with a conversation with Jason Sybert’s family. They wanted to honor his memory in a way that would make a meaningful difference in someone else’s life.
His family and friends came together to fund student scholarships. Their generosity inspired a continuing way for others to honor a loved one through the gift of opportunity.

IN LOVING MEMORY
Timmy’s father remembers the transformation that followed his son’s encounter with Jesus. Timmy wanted to help others facing addiction and began leading a Living Free group at The Gathering Place Church with Pastor Randy Camper.

Timmy passed away on January 20, 2021, at age 33. His memorial scholarship honors that desire to help others find recovery and hope.
